Fir Point Farms

I took the kids to Fir Point Farms on Saturday. It was so fun! Adele was brave enough to feed the pygmy goats (which climb trees) from her hands. She did a super big, fast slide into hay (that was scary for her, but she still did it twice). There was "hazel's nut house" which was a log cabin filled with hazel nuts. A bounce house, an inflatable obstacle course with slide, pony drawn carriage rides. We picked pumpkins from the patch, and we got to do things a million times because it was a "dry run" for their fall festival. So there were no crowds, hardly anyone there, and they all wanted to let Adele do things as much as she wanted! And people kept giving us their tickets. We had an awful lot of fun.
This weekend, Samuel started using just his hands and knees to crawl! He was previously always falling to his tummy. Which he is extremely fast at. He tried no tummy yesterday, and went SLOW, so slow. He was really thinking about using each knee. Today I tried to film it, and he sort of kept switching off, depending on how fast he wanted to reach something.Watch a video of Samuel crawling.

Cute crawler!! I can't believe how much hair Samuel has, it's really cute. And way to go Adele for going down a fast slide like that! You're lucky there weren't crowds and you kept getting tickets from people. The place we were at on Saturday was SO crowded and we ended up avoiding the kids stuff (that all cost money) because it was too crazy there.

Wow, that looks like a super fun day. I can't believe how courageous Adele is sometimes. That slide looks so big for a not-quite-three-year-old. That's pretty cool you got to go during the dry run, too. People probably partially gave their tickets to you cuz Adele is so cute.

Samuel is so cute now, too. That video of him crawling is so fun to watch. He was moving a lot faster than I expected though. I like how you can hear Adele piping up very politely in the background.

It looks like you guys are having so much fun! I'm sure it's awesome to be in Portland, but we are SO looking forward to you being back here in a few weeks (and for Scott to not have to wake up at 4am anymore...). Fremont here we come!!
